Tara Reid was first in the commercial world as a kid. It wasn't until she made her appearance on Saved by the Bell: The New Class that Tara Reid became a household name. She's played her characters effortlessly, in spite of the criticism. After a few years before her breakthrough, she received her biggest breakthrough when Bunny was made a part of The Big Lebowski. Following the movie began to get higher offers from films such as Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. But it was American Pie the cult movie that focused on sexual encounters between teenagers that put Reid in the spotlight as a promising actress for Hollywood in her part as virgin Vicky. It was not an enviable Hollywood life. Reid was a victim of a number of mistakes in films like Josie and the Pussycats. It was a disappointing return for her career. Reid had a tiny role on the set of American Pie 2, but the film did not help. Reid is known more in the realm of celebrity parties or designer than an actual actress. The off-screen blunders and publicized cosmetic surgeries resulted in her becoming not a well-known actor.
